WHY THIS FILM MATTERS

Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother is a powerful exploration of faith, family, grief, fatherhood and identity, centered on a complex Black Muslim character portrayed by Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali and directed by Bassam Tariq.  By helping fill the theatrer we are supporting meaningful representation in film while creating resources for Halalywood Foundation's youth arts and media programs.
